The US Army Space & Missile Defense Command plans on constructing and deploying an autonomous, free flying long endurance multi-intelligent vehicle (LEMV) to the Afghan theater, in the next 18 months. The vehicle is derivative of Lockheed Martin's Skunk Works self funded experimental hybrid airship the P-791, which flew six times in 2006. (more...)

Lockheed Martin unveiled the U.S. Navy's first-ever stealth fighter, the F-35C Lighting II this week at its Ft. Worth, Texas manufacturing plant. The aircraft represents the Navy's first ever 5th generation fighter and most likely the last manned fighter aircraft that will ever be built. (more...)
