One thing is for certain, Apple's Tablet PC is right around the corner.
According to numerous rumors swirling about this morning, the manufacturing contract has been awarded to Apple's iPod/iPhone maker,
Foxconn (Hon Hai Precision). Foxconn was given preference over Apple's
long time Mac maker Quanta, mainly in part beacuse the Tablet PC is much more a derivative of and big brother to the iPhone, rather than the Mac.
Apple's Tablet PC will reach the market in the first quarter of 2010 with initial shipments approaching 300,000 - 400,000 per month.
The device will feature a 10.6-inch display panel, long battery life, quick internet connectivity and
Apple's legendary easy to use interface.
If the iPhone is any indication of how well the masses adopt Apple's Tablet PC, its
success in the global marketplace should be staggering.
