In effort to counteract Google’s massive dominance in the search engine market, Microsoft recently unveiled the 'bing' decision search engine and 'bing mobile' search. Initial response to both products has been excellent.
Microsoft is touting 'bing' as a ‘Decision Engine’, specifically designed as the next iteration of "what searching the internet will be like". 'Bing' incorporates the benefits of today’s search engine technology and extends it to the next level by providing users with faster, more targeted results minimizing the need for re-query or refinement. 'Bing' will allow customers to make better more informed decisions focusing initially on four vertical areas: making a purchase decision, planning a trip, researching a health condition or finding a local business.
If you haven’t perused around 'bing' yet, you really should. Its nice clean user interface is both welcoming and simple to use. I'm just not so sure about the name!?!
