The magnificent Bellagio fountain was designed and built by WET Design of Sun Valley , California. A small company known for their brilliance and excellence in the world of fountain design . The idea and character for the fountain was conceived by Mr. Steve Wynn, Chairman of Mirage Resorts back in 1995, at which time he commissioned WET Design to realize his objectives for the fountains site.

To date, it is without a doubt one of the most complex water fountains ever constructed. The fountain itself is situated inside an 8 acre lake, in front of the Bellagio Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada containing over 1,000 water expressions and over 4,000 individually programmed white lights.
