Ferrari goes Green

As nice as Ferrari’s are they guzzle gas like we drink water. Ferrari’s all-new 599 GTB Hybrid Concept sports car is the answer. This car really packs a punch with a whopping 620-hp that zooms up to 206-mph. The car increases Ferrari’s fuel economy by nearly 50 percent. How it works is clever: The 100-hp electric motor bolts to the rear of the dual-clutch seven-speed transmission. The Ii-ion battery pack is hidden under the floor. The electric system adds 176 pounds, but it’s capable of low-speed EV propulsion. A crankshaft clutch keeps the auxiliary systems functioning when the engine is off. All Ferraris will soon have this system.

this is cool and all but if your going to spend $200,000 on a car, well i dont think that you would care what it does on gas

I agree richardw but the current trend for 'all' cars is fuel efficiency and clean power ..... i hope hydrogen fuel cells can take off soon.
