New from the makers of the legendary Barrett BA21 .50 cal rifle is the model 98 Bravo.
Revolutionary in design, the 98 Bravo comes in as the little brother to BA21 firing the
much smaller but still extremely effective .338 Lapua round. Barrett tapped into their vast
experience designing long range rifles to come up with a smaller, more cost effective
model, for those jobs when the .50 cal is just too big.
Barrett utilized a modular layout that allows the user to adapt the rifle to fit their exact needs and
incorporated a strait-line design running from the muzzle to the shooter's shoulder to tame recoil,
making the 98 very easy to shoot. The straight-line design according to Barrett also makes for
faster, more accurate follow-up shots fed in from the polymer 10-round detachable magazine.
The 98 Bravo also incorporates an ergonomic pistol grip that positions the shooter's hand in a
natural position which reduces muscle fatigue and promotes excellent trigger control, as well
as a polymer guide that silences the bolt when feeding in the next round.
The 98 Bravo boasts a massive 18in 1913 rail which allows for any number or combination
of optics to be mounted.
The fluted, match-grade barrel is easily accessed for cleaning from the chamber by breaking the rifle open much
the same way as an M4 Carbine. Barrel cooling is aided by a series of vents machined into the upper receiver.
Equipped with a rear monopod and forward bipod, the model 98B is both extremely accurate and a pleasure to shoot.
Tested to MIL SPEC 810-F, the 98B continues Barrett's dominance in making the most reliable, high performing and
innovative long range, high caliber rifles in the world. From long distance hunters, to Police Departments, to
the Military; the model 98B should prove to be one important asset and one phenomenal rifle, if and when the need arises.
The 98 Bravo retails for $4,495 (optics extra).

I wouldn't want to be a bad guy knowing that the forces of good in the world are employing such awesome weapons against me...
An expensive gun for hunting but it looks like good medicine for taking out American pro-democracy hating blood thirsty terrorists. Sorry, I meant insurgents.
