Samsung has announced the availability of the Mondi, the world's most advanced mobile WiMax handheld device. Designed
specifically for use with the CLEAR mobile WiMax service from Clearwire, the Mondi is feature rich 4G device that
employs the fastest wireless browsing and download speeds available.
Fitting somewhere between a laptop and a smart phone, the Mondi is packed with GPS, a 3 Megapixel camera/camcorder, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.0,
Opera 9.5 for web browsing, Windows Live messenger, Outlook secure mobile and numerous customizable widgets applications. All this
wonderful functionality is accessed through a beautiful 4.3 inch 800x480 touch screen display with slide-out full QWERTY keyboard.
The Samsung Mondi is the first of many Mobile internet devices that should begin to enter the market place over the next few months, especially since Clearwire hopes to have its CLEAR super fast mobile internet service in over 80 markets by late 2010. The only question is, will the at home, in office, go anywhere wireless service gain adoption on a mass scale...
