What to do with the thousands of airplanes collecting dust at Davis-Monthan Air Force base in Arizona?
Make them into furniture of course! A design team from Motoart , has done just that. Based in Los Angeles,
Motoart has transformed varying surplus aircraft parts into highly desirable pieces of furniture for the home,
the office or any other place you can conjure up.
The line which had Initially consisted of sculptures made from B17 propellers, has taken off and grown into a whole
new product line of aircraft based furniture. Here's some of the ideas that have landed; aircraft desks, tables,
credenzas, beds, pictures, frames, couches, chairs and even a bed made out of a 747 engine housing. You name it, Motoart
produces it, only the imagination limits what comes next.....now if they could only get their hands on the retired F117 Stealth Fighter?
That would be very interesting.
Don't miss their website, they have an incredible product line .....
