An icon from one of my favorite movies while growing up is for sale.....
Now on the market for a cool $2,300,000 (if you're interested) is the Contemporary 1953 Highland Park, Illinois home that was used as Ferris Bueller's best friend Cameron's house in the 1986 movie 'Ferris Bueller's Day Off'. The house is best known for the location where Cameron accidentally sends his father's restored 1961 Ferrari 250 GT crashing through the plate glass wall into the ravine below.
The Ben Rose Home as it's known, is a unique property designed by A. James Speyer and David Haid, both notable architects of the 20th Century.
The house is cantilevered over the ravine making extensive use of steel with glass and features incredible views of the surrounding woods.
One of the most amazing movies.
