Robot Taxi

Czech designer Kubik Petr has come up with a unique Electric powered Robotic taxi concept . The robotic taxi is planned to operate in heavily congested urban environments and transport two passengers and luggage. The taxi will be driven by two electric motors that are integrated into the wheels and it will be able to reach speeds of 60Mph for up to 20 hours on one charge.

To hail a robot taxi, a patron calls the centralized operating station and the operator will determine the nearest taxis location and elctronically dispatch it.

The day of the driverless cab is on its way.

The concept is very interesting, theres no doubt that a robotic driverless taxi is on the way, think of all the employee costs a company could save if there were no driver...

This is very cool, but how does it go through traffic without crashing Are there sensors
